The Gut Skin Connection: Part 2 Candida Overgrowth

Candida and your skin

First, we have to understand what candida is. Candida is a fungal infection and is typically found in the mouth and small intestine. It is generally not problematic until it begins to grow uncontrollably. Candida is the most common cause of fungal infections and there are many contributing factors that can lead to an candida overgrowth in the body.

Could candida be affecting your skin?
